W. Siau Barr, Jr. practices primarily in the areas of Business Law, Real Estate Litigation and Commercial Transactions. Before going to law school, he was an inspector with Clemson University’s Department of Pesticide regulation where he enforced State and Federal pesticide laws. At the time, he held credentials with the State of South Carolina and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as an inspector and was classified as an entomologist with the State of South Carolina. While in law school, Siau was a member of the Real Estate Society and the Environmental Law Society. He assists clients in real estate litigation prosecuting and defending declaratory judgment actions related to easements and other property disputes and quiet title actions. In addition, he has assisted businesses and individuals over the years in collecting debt on breach of contract matters and other commercial debt collection for contractors and other businesses. He represents buyers and sellers in both commercial and residential real estate transactions.
