Ashton Phillips practices in the firm’s Professional Liability practice group. The majority of Ashton’s practice consists of civil defense work, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and general tort liability. The remainder of his practice is spent defending health care providers, attorneys and other licensed professionals who are being investigated by their respective licensing Board or the Office of Disciplinary Counsel. Outside of the office, Ashton enjoys playing tennis and golf. Ashton and his wife, Lauren, are active members at St. Philip’s Church, and they live in West Ashley with their two kids.
