Michael Loignon practices primarily in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Appeals practice group. Prior to joining Clement Rivers, LLP, Michael worked as an attorney for the South Carolina Department of Social Services and the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office where he tried numerous cases to jury verdict. Michael is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute. In law school, Michael won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Evidence and was a member of the Military Law Society and the Criminal Law Society. Michael has served as an Intelligence Officer in the Army National Guard since 2003, earning an Army Commendation Medal for service in Iraq.
