
D. Jay Davis, Jr. is chair of the Professional and Medical Liability Group as well as the firm’s Business and Banking Litigation group. He also serves on the firm’s management committee. He is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, and a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel.
Jay’s Practice
Jay focuses his defense practice primarily in the areas of professional liability, medical and legal malpractice, nursing homes, business, commercial, and real estate litigation. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at the Charleston School of Law where he taught litigation skills.
